About Anne
Throughout the years, I’ve earned a reputation for being able to learn new things quickly, discern themes, patterns, and processes, then connect dots (often in unusual ways across disciplines) to enable my teams and clients to bring about positive change.

Client needs and interests are always my top priority... but I'm not an order taker. It's vital to challenge, with respect, to provoke new possibilities, crystalize thinking, and achieve accountability for results.
Whether you’re about to launch a new project, need to build or re-boot your team, or would like tips and confidence for your next presentation or difficult conversation, I can help you connect to your possibilities and success.
I've been busy doing stuff
that can help me help you...
My experience includes manufacturing line support, technology, project management, sales (cold calling in the Bronx, anyone?), forecasting & business planning, product management, customer insights and CRM, investor relations, media spokesperson, strategic marketing, local government administration & finance, and consulting. And now training, coaching, and facilitation.

I've been an individual contributor, manager, and managing director leading other managers.

As a board member on several boards -- non-profits, a national industry group, fund board, and elected village trustee -- I've also helped organizations grow by guiding high-level direction and exercising effective oversight. I've benefited from many opportunities in governance, including CEO selection, crafting new strategic direction, and acquisitions. The board mantra "noses in, hands out" has taught me the power of smart questions and insightful dialogue.

The threads running through my work and results
are curiosity, connecting dots, problem-solving, and focus on results.

Are you still here?
And curious for more about Anne?
Things I really enjoy:
-
People -- nearly all of them, and particularly my kids
-
Outdoor adventures -- especially backpacking in our national parks. You can experience amazing beauty if you're willing to sleep in a tent and go without plumbing for a few days.
-
Learning -- yep, I read encyclopedias as a kid, and currently absorb almost all displays at museums. I press buttons and look around a lot, too.
-
Food and wine -- fortunately I have a garden and a son who is a chef.
-
Music -- I've been singing forever and playing piano since I was 7. I also own a clarinet; learning banjo remains on my bucket list.
